If rock in the channel, will the rip rap pad include rock sitting on top of the stream bed or (our preference) rock installed so that the top of the rock is no higher than the original stream bed elevation? 2) Lastly, Senator Ralph Scott Parkway is now proposed to extend to Gov Scott Farm Road. The PCN mentions traffic volumes including truck traffic, which brings into question the potential need to improve /pave Gov Scott Farm Road. Does NCDOT or another entity plan to make these improvements? If so, what is the expected timing on such work?
