RE: Salem Construction and Planting Completion Report (DWR # 2022‐0139v2)
Dear Ms. Merritt:
Water & Land Solutions, LLC (WLS) is pleased to provide our Construction and Planting Completion
Report for the Salem Nutrient Offset Bank. The site planting was completed on February 22, 2024.
Monitoring stations consist of a total of 11 vegetation plots with nine fixed permanent plots and two
random transects. The easement boundary marking has been completed with t-posts and easement signs
spaced a maximum of 200 feet apart along the entire conservation easement. Photos are attached to this
report to show the boundary marking. There is no fencing on this site.
No earthwork occurred onsite. There were no deviations from the approved Nutrient Offset Plan.
A supplemental document is attached which contains a map showing the vegetation plot locations and
photos. The site yields an average of 743 stems per acre and 18 stems per plot. A Baseline Monitoring
Report will be completed following the submittal of the Construction and Planting Completion Report and
DWR site visit. Please contact me if you have any additional questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Water & Land Solutions, LLC
