2023 Pretreatment Annual Report Narrative

I. General Program Information
• Pretreatment Program Information Sheet - The information sheet as
provided by the PERCS Unit needs to be updated regarding contact information
attached is the marked up corrected info sheet. There were no SNC and no
historical SNC report was received.
• Major Pretreatment Program Elements
Headworks Analysis — The site -specific headworks analysis was submitted
September 25, 2018 with additional information requested and submitted in
January 2019. The HWA was approved by the PERCS Unit on January, 2019.
An updated HWA is currently being worked on and will be submitted as soon as
possible. An updated LTMP plan was modified to more closely reflect the POC
and submitted in December 2024.
• Enforcement Response Plan -- The City of Brevard has an approved
Enforcement Response Plan of file at this time approved June 2014
• Sewer Use ordinance - The City of Brevard adopted the model SUO December
2013
• Industrial Waste Survey — The City of Brevard's Industrial Waste Survey was
updated and submitted in December 2024. Twelve short surveys were sent out in
April of 2022 and no new SIU's were identified, Oskar Blues Brewery remains the
only SIU. An Industrial Waste Survey was completed in April 2022.
• IUP — The Industrial User Permit for Oskar Blues Brewery was issued on
September 25 2014 and renewed September 2019. The permit was renewed in
September 2022. This is the City's only active IUP.
• IUP Changes —The IUP was modified December 2016 to reflect the more
current operational status of the completed pretreatment and upgrades to the
City of Brevard WWTP. March 2019 the IUP was modified and reissued to
correct flow limit typo error. September 2019 the IUP was renewed. September
2022 the permit was renewed.

II. SIU Information
SIU's in SNC — Under the original permit limits Oskar Blues was in SNC for TSS,
however 2016 was an evaluation period of the impact of the newly completed
pretreatment plant as well as upgrades to the existing City of Brevard WWTP.
Modifications to the original permit limits were made to reflect these changes so
that the SIU would not remain in SNC and a new permit was issued. The IUP
was renewed in September 2019 and again in September 2022. The SIU has
remained compliant through 2022.
