The Division of Water Resources (DWR) has performed a review of a 401 Water Quality Certification application received
on October 2, 2015 for the above referenced project. The DWR has determined that your application is incomplete and
cannot be processed. The application is on -hold until the following information is received:
1. Please provide a narrative on how downstream turbidity levels will be monitored while the lake valve is opened
to drain the lake and throughout the duration of the project. The turbidity in the receiving stream shall not
exceed 50 Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU [15A NCAC 02B .0211 (21)]
