FACILITY SUMMARY
Kamet Holdings, LLC plans to operate a 100%domestic wastewater treatment plant for an estimated 300
residents. The Westview Estates WWTP is a minor facility(flow< 1 MGD)with a design capacity and
permitted wastewater discharge of 0.0822 MGD. Mr. Oded Ashe(President of Kamet Holdings,LLC)
stated that he is in the process of applying for a major construction loan and hopes to begin building the
treatment plant around June 2024. He is projecting utility completion around June 2025. The original
permit for this WWTP was issued in November 2003. This facility,when constructed,will utilize the
following treatment components:
♦ 25,000 gallon aerated flow equalization basin with dual submersible pumps
♦ Dual 56,800-gallon aeration basins with fine bubble diffusers
♦ Dual 380-cfin blowers and one (1) 206 cfin blower
♦ Dual 208 ft2 secondary clarifiers with air lift pumps

RENEWAL SUMMARY
This renewal contains the following changes:
• Added effluent monitoring for turbidity to the table in Section A. (1.)to determine compliance with
15A NCAC 02B.0211 (21)for Trout waters.
• Electronic data submission requirements have been updated in Part I.A. (3).
• The Public Water Supply staff and the Operator Certification Program staff approved the draft
permit.
COMPLIANCE HISTORY
Westview Estates WWTP has had no enforcements, violations, or inspections. No discharge data has
been reported because the facility is not operating yet.
