The above described tract of land is a portion of that land which was conveyed to J. Benton Thomas by W. M. Thomas and wife by deed dated November 30, 1951, and recorded in Deed Book 92, at Page 542, Hoke County Registry. J. Benton Thomas subsequently died in 1963. By the terms of Article V of his Last Will and Testament, which is recorded in Will Book 3, Page 41, in the Office of the Hoke County Clerk of Court,he devised his "Edinboro Farm," containing approximately 130 acres, which included the above described tract of land, to his grandsons, Joe McLeod and Benny McLeod, the parties of the first part. Together with and subject to covenants, easements, and restrictions of record. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to it, the said party of the second part and its successors and assigns in fee simple.
