Project Description:
The purpose of the land disturbing activity is to construct a 5,500 square-foot single story Shriners
Meeting Facility with associated parking and utilities. The Grading& Erosion Control Plan was Originally
Submitted by Wolftrail Engineering in September, 2023. Wilson Engineering Group has since been
hired to address the necessary revisions requested in the review. The review fee for the Erosion Control
Permit Application was originally$200.00 with the disturbed limits listed at 1.18 Acres. An additional
review fee of$200.00 was necessary in the revised submittal for the increase in disturbed construction
limits to 3.18 Acres.
Existing Site Conditions:The proposed construction area is relatively flat with slopes ranging from 2 to
6%. No pre-2006 impervious conditions exist with the exception of an existing 12'wide gravel road
running east to west along the northern property boundary.
Stormwater Runoff: Temporary Sediment Basins 1 &2 will control offsite siltation. The increase in
impervious area(1.04 Acres)will increase the peak runoff during the 10-year storm from 17.12 cfs to
22.01 cfs.
Adjacent Areas:
The areas adjoining the site are farms and farmer residences.
Off-site Land-Disturbing Areas:
There will be no off-site Land-disturbing Activities or Areas associated with this construction.
Soils-See Appendix A
Soil Types:
TbB2—100%of Area of Interest (AOI);
Critical Areas:
There are no critical areas on the site in terms of stream and wetland buffers.
Erosion &Sediment Control Measures—See Appendices B & C:
The Erosion and Sediment Control Measures slated for construction, as well as the Construction
Sequence are shown on Sheets 1 of the Grading & Erosion Control Plan Set,with construction details
and maintenance schedules shown on Sheet 2.

Permanent Stabilization:
The majority of the disturbed area for the project will be stabilized by concrete (building area, access
roads, parking areas& sidewalks). The remaining disturbed areas will be permanently stabilized by
vegetation (grass) as follows:
Seeding Specification & Rate-Tall Fescue (Ky 31), 80- 100 lbs per acre
Fertilizer Rate- 1000 lbs per acre 10-20-10 PKN
Liming Rate- 1 tons per acre pulverized agricultural grade limestone
Mulching Type/ Rate-Straw/4,000 lbs per acre.
Property Area:
Total property: 6.32 Acres
Impervious Areas—See Appendix D:
The property area is 6.32 acres. The site has a pre-2006 existing gravel road bordering the north
property line.A portion of this gravel road will be paved for the newly proposed entrance.
Impervious Area Summary—
Total Property Area (6.32 Ac.)
Total pre-2006 Impervious Area: 0.15-acres
Total Remaining Pervious Area 6.17 Acres
24% High Density Threshold—1.48Acres
Total Post 2023 Construction Impervious Area: <1.04-acres
