GUC Bank Parcel Credit Release — Task 7
Dear Mr. Jenkins:
On February 2, 2024, Restoration Systems, LLC provided DWR confirmation that the conservation
easements for the subject site have been successfully assigned to the North Carolina Wildlife Habitat
Foundation (NCWHF). NCWHF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and has been approved by
DWR as a long-term steward for this mitigation bank.
In accordance with the MBI, signed on February 17, 2020, the following Project Milestones have
been met and the corresponding credits shall be released:

By copy of this correspondence, DWR confirms that you have satisfied the above requirements for
the above -referenced tract and 5% of your Nitrogen nutrient offset credits
(0.05 x 118,089.653 lb-N = 5,904.483 lb-N) and 5% of your Phosphorus nutrient offset credits (0.05
x 7,605.887 lbs-P = 380.294 lb-P) are now available to sell. Additionally, 5% of your Neuse buffer
Restoration credits (0.05 x 1,491,885.751 ft2 = 74,594.288 ft2) and 5% of your Neuse buffer
Preservation credits (0.05 x 6,824.342 ft2 = 341.217 ft2) are now available to sell.
Please note that nutrient offset credits generated at this site must be used for impacts in HUC
03020103 of the Tar -Pamlico River Basin pursuant to 15A NCAC 02B .0703, which became
effective on April 1, 2020. Additionally, the riparian buffer credits must be used for impacts in
the Tar -Pamlico River Basin in accordance with guidelines in the Consolidated Buffer
Mitigation Rule, 15A NCAC 02B .0295, which became effective on November 1, 2015.
