Inspection Summary:
On Janaury 17,2024, MRO staff collected well samples from both the Influent and Effluent sample ports of the geothermal
well under permit W10300123.
Samples were collected for the purpose of permit renewal. Samples for coliform bacteria, metals, wet chemistry, nutrients
and other water quality parameters were collected and submitted to the DWQ laboratory in Raleigh for analysis. Field
parameters were also collected during the sampling event.
During the sampling event low turbidity was noted in the discharge of both sampling ports.

Flow rate was not measured during the sampling event.
The permittee indicated the system is not having operational issues. The system is performing as expected.
Comment: A spigot well installed for effluent at the bladder tank to be able to collect effluent samples.
The bladder tank is in the garage inside a small room and access is limited.
