Subject: CAMA Major Permit #17 -14 for Bridgeton Marine LLC
Attachment: Sheet 3 of 4 of drawing "Proposed Conditions for Bridgeton Marine LLC"
Reference: Our phone conversation Same Subject
Mr. Scarbraugh:
As regards the future development of the subject and the proposed use of the new travel lift as you
discussed by our phone call. I have attached a sketch that shows the future building structure that will
contain the vessel repair work.
In the meantime the drydock vessel repair work will be enclosed within temporary enclosures as
necessary to contain any possible offsite passage of dust, debris, paint or chemicals. The washdown
discharge from washing the vessels as hauled out from the river will be contained and filtered for solids
for proper disposal.
We appreciate the BMP document for the Clean Marina Program that you forwarded to my attention and
the applicable items will be addressed as shown therein. However it should be noted that the Bridgeton
Marine site is not permitted as a marina nor is it proposed to be operated as a marina at this time and
therefore portions of the BMP document are not applicable to the project as proposed. Some of these
items that are not applicable are fuel stations, sewer pumpout, and fish waste. The Bridgeton Boatyard
does currently operate with full attention to the environmental concerns shown in the document and will
continue to do so with the expansion of the additional boat haul out facility when this is permitted.
I trust that the above inforptioragpt j meet your concerns for the project. If you have added questions
please call me. ,p` RCAR„'%-
