SUBJECT: Acceptance of Recreation Sites at Falls Lake and
Jordan Lake

DATE: October 13, 1988

Staff within the Design and Development and Operations sections
are presently reviewing compliance with numerous punch lists that
have been developed over the last two years. Although many of
the original problems have been corrected, not all have been
completed to our satisfaction.

I have directed the Chief of Design and Development and the Chief
of Operations to make their recommendation to me on the
acceptance of these facilities within the next 30 days. At that
time, we will forward letters of acceptance for those sites which
have been adequately repaired in accordance with all documented
punch lists.
