Date: 2/7/2023 Superintendent, Spindale WWTP TOWN OF SPINDALE (NPDES #NC0020664) Narrative: IUP#03 Manual Woodworking & Weaving This SIU had no violations in 2023 and works well with POTW on all compliance pretreatments. IUP #04 The Timken company A categorical SIU. This SIU had no violation in 2023. This SIU also continues to work well with the POTW. IUP #08 Ultimate Textile, Inc. This SIU had no violations in 2023 works well with POTW on all compliance pretreatments. IUP #10 Isothermal Textiles, Inc This is a new SIU. The permit has been submitted to the state and approved. They are conducting monthly testing to determine if any limitations are needed for a period of one year. The Town of Spindale has tested and inspected the Industries. The SIU's are cooperating by taking monthly samples for copper and silver to assist with compliance of our future requirements of the NPDES permit.
