I've moved on to the Water Sciences Section at DWR. I'm passing your email along to Karen Higgins, supervisor of the 401 program. Please say hi to Len for me. I always enjoyed working with you and Len. Karen — I'd be happy to meet with your folks as needed to review project history. From: Ceccarelli, Don[irnailto:Doin.Ceccairelli(«)irneclkleinlbuir couintyinc. ov] Sent: Friday, September 11, 2015 8:27 AM To: Karoly, Cyndi Cc: Lucas, Annette; Rozzelle, Rusty; Caldwell, David Subject: Palisades Development Good Morning Cyndi, Len Rindner and Marc Houle have contacted me about a 401/404 permit application they are getting ready to submit to your office for the Palisades Development in Mecklenburg County. You may recall the long history with this site and that Mecklenburg County has been administering the Palisades Water Quality Management Plan (I've attached some historic emails). We have been reviewing/approving water quality treatment structures required by 401 Certifications to ensure compliance with the conditions of the Palisades Water Quality Management Plan and the Lower Lake Wylie Watershed Protection Overlay Ordinance as per your previous instruction. We will continue to reviewing/approving plans submitted for water quality treatment structures within this development and will require a narrative to be submitted along with the application explaining per your previous instruction. Since it has been a while since there was permitting activity at this development, I wanted to verify if we need to make any changes to our current procedures.
