Good afternoon Mr. Farkas, We have reviewed the comments in your letter and feel that the comments are largely administrative to the EZ form, along with providing clarification on the plans for slopes, etc. versus design changes. We have already began addressing these comments and plan to resubmit ASAP. With that being said, in our meeting you had mentioned if the comments were minor in nature, they could be addressed via email and would not necessarily be considered a formal comment response. As you are aware, this is a hot item for Asheville Airport, as well as, a critical piece for our project and wanted to see if there was any opportunities for an expedited review upon our resubmission? Very Respectfully, Nathan Hudgens, P.E.* Gresham Smith D: 615.770.8155 M: 615.642.6474 *TN,NC,OH From: Farkas, Jim J <Jim.Farkas@deq.nc.gov> Sent: Thursday, September 7, 2023 1:33 PM To: mreisman@flyavl.com; Nathan Hudgens <nathan.hudgens@greshamsmith.com>; Amber Henson <amber.henson@greshamsmith.com>; Michelle Dove <michelle.dove@greshamsmith.com> Cc: Smith, Mike M <michael.smith@deq.nc.gov> Subject: \[EXTERNAL\] RE: SW1221002 Asheville Regional Airport Terminal Modernization and Expansion Good Afternoon, 1 The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a Stormwater Management Permit Application th for the subject project on August 7, 2023.
