REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION: STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dear Mr. Morris:
On July 16, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued a 401 Water Quality Certification to
impact to impact 300 linear feet of unnamed tributary to Long Creek to construct the transportation center
described in your application received by the DWQ on May 29, 2007. In order to meet Condition 6 of the
401 Certification for this project, a stormwater management plan was submitted to the DWQ on August 1,
2007. On August 27, 2007, the DWQ sent you a Stormwater Duplicity of Effort Notice. Since that time,
your consultant, John R. McAdams Company, Inc., has demonstrated that this project does not fall under
this policy and that the DWQ is the appropriate stormwater reviewing authority for this project.
On November 6, 2007, the DWQ received a revised stormwater management plan for this project. The
DWQ has reviewed this plan and determined that it was incomplete as discussed below.
Additional Information Requested:
1. The Stormwater Wetland Worksheet indicates that this device has a surface area of 21,631 square
feet. However the sum of the surface areas of the forebay, high marsh, low marsh and micropool
is only 17,649 square feet. A minimum surface area of approximately 20,400 square feet is
required. Please check the surface areas and provide a corrected Stormwater Wetland Worksheet.
The DWQ will require the above additional information to finalize review of the stormwater management
plan for the subject property. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review
