HomeMy WebLinkAboutNC0043257_Permit Issuance_19960401Permit No. NCO043257 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, AND NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PER TO DISCHARGE WASTEWATER UNDER THE NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM In compliance with the provision of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1, other lawful standards and regulations promulgated and adopted by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission, and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, Nature Trail Associates is hereby authorized to discharge wastewater from a facility located at the Nature Trails Mobile Home Park 101 Nature Trails Chapel Hill Chatham County to receiving waters designated as Cub Creek in the Cape Fear River Basin in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions set forth in Parts I, II, III, and IV hereof. Continue to operate a 0.040 MGD extended aeration wastewater treatment plant consisting of an influent pump station, aeration basins, dual clarifiers, aerobic sludge digestors, tertiary sand filters, chlorination equipment, and effluent measurement devices located at Nature Trails Mobile Home Park, 101 Nature Trails, Chapel Hill, Chatham County (See Part III of this Permit), and 2. Discharge from said treatment works at the location specified on the attached map into Cub Creek which is classified Class WS-IV NSW waters in the Cape Fear River Basin. A. (). Recommend existing limits with 2.0 mg/1 ammonia (summer) and 5.0 mg/1 ammonia (winter) and upgrade monitoring as per regulations for class H facilites.
