REFERENCE: 1) B-4228 USAGE 404 NW Action ID No. SAW2006154214172 July 18, 2006 2) B-4228 Nationwide Permit Application dated June 5, 2006 Dear Sir: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has been issued a Nationwide 23 permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for project B-4228 which expired on March 18, 2007. Project construction in jurisdictional areas will not be completed by the end of the 12-month grace period, March 17, 2008. Therefore, we are requesting permit re-issuance. Table 1. The NCDOT will also continue to adhere to all general conditions set forth in the 401 General Water Quality Certifications (WQC) 3632 and 3634. All general conditions of the Water Quality Certifications will be met. Therefore, in accordance with 15A NCAC 2H, Section .0500(a) and 15A NCAC 2B.0200, we are providing copies of this application to the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, Division of Water Quality for their approval.
