Turn left on SR 2171 and travel approx. 0.6 mile. The STP is on north side of SR 2171 6. Discharge Point - Latitude: 350 56' 45" Longitude: 790 19' 15" Attach a USGS Map Extract and indicated treatment plant site and discharge point on map. USGS Quad No. D21NE or USGS Quad Name Saxapahaw 7. Size (land available for expansion and upgrading): The school has plenty of room to expand and upgrade to a sandfilter system. 8. Topography (relationship to flood plain included): The treatment plant is approximately 80 feet above and 1800 feet west of the Haw River. 9. Other: The design capacity is 0.0075 MGD. PART IV - EVALUATION AND The aeration chamber had a very dark grey color. Solids had accumulated to a depth of 5 inches at the effluent pipe. A bridge is under construction at the effluent pipe. I was informed that the present bridge will be removed. Attention should be given to the effluent pipe to ensure that it is not damaged. The plant is operating in compliance. Therefore, it is recommended that the permit be renewed for B. E. Jordan Elementary School.
