Permits & Engineering Comments:
Recommend renewal of NPDES permit with existing limits. Receiving stream incorrectly
classified in last permit. The correct classification is C-NSW. Monthly monitoring reports
indicate extremely high chlorine levels-1.0 mg/1 average with a max. of 3.5 mg/l. Instream
monitoring data do not indicate any problems. Region: Please comment on the appropriateness
of adding a chlorine limit and requiring dechlorination for this facility.

PART III - EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
While this work is being accomplished, the permittee and operator should also consider
providing for future dechlorination or alternate disinfection processes. The permittee and
operator should provide for year-round potable water with a freeze -proof spigot at the WWTP.
Consideration should also be given to increasing the sizing of any grease traps associated with
food preparation facilities. Improved pumper truck access is highly recommended. Additional
handrails and grates may be needed at the WWTP to comply with OSHA requirements when
these improvements are made.
WSRO recommends that the A-C be issued providing the above conditions are appropriately
addressed.
