"JOEY" HOPKfNs SECRETARY Subject: Request for Randleman Lake Riparian Buffer Determination for the Proposed Widening of SR 1818/SR1850 (Johnson Street/Sandy Ridge Road) from SR 1820 (Skeet Club Road) in the City of High Point to Interstate 40 East in Guilford County, Division 7, TIP U-4758 Dear Mr. Conchilla: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) proposes to widen SR 1818/SR1850 (Johnson Street/Sandy Ridge Road) from SR 1820 (Skeet Club Road) in the City of High Point to Interstate 40 East in Guilford County. This Randleman Lake Riparian Buffer Determination Request is limited to the five (5) proposed buffer impact sites shown in the attached Draft Buffer Permit Drawings, dated January 10, 2024. All streams that were delineated within the larger U-4758 study area (NRTR Figure 3, attached) were assumed to be protected under the Randleman Lake Riparian Buffer Rules. A brief summary of the proposed impact sites is shown below. Table.
