Once bypass was under control, lime was spread over affected area. The area will be regraded and graveled tomorrow after everything dries a bit. Upstream and downstream fecal samples were taken and we will have the results of that in morning. Affected area was covered in lime the next morning. Area will be regraded and graveled tomorrow. Action Taken or Proposed to be Taken to Prevent Occurrences: The public works department works diligently trying to find and replace old infrastructure to prevent I&I. We have a plan in place at the WWTP to prevent these events but yesterday’s storm was unique and was not the usual storms we see.
