I hope this email response to you will ensure that the Regional Supervisor is copied – I do not
have his contact information.

Below are actions that have been taken and planned that pertain to the HFCA’s Sewer Sand
Filter:

1. The tank was pumped by Environmental, Inc. in January 2024
a. A master Log has been created to document future pumping and inspecting
b. Environmental, Inc. will be installing a riser on it for future ability to determine
tank level
i. I will follow up with you in an email when this riser has been installed
c. Environmental, Inc. placed Chlorine and de-chlorination tablets on the inflow and
outflow ends in January 2024
i. Environmental, Inc. will be working toward an improved method of
placement of the chlorine tablets on the out-flow side
ii. In our logs, we will document this step as a reminder for our ORC to
check no fewer than twice per year
d. For the Master Annual Inspection Map, the Sand Filter lines, tank and 26’ x 26’
drain field are prominently marked for documentation of inspection

know if I need to clarify any of the above. I’ll follow up with b(1) as soon as it has been
installed.
