Facility: Curtis Insulation CLRS
Nash County
On December 4, 2023, Jim Westcott from the Raleigh Regional Office visited your closed loop
recycle system to evaluate compliance with the subject permit. The assistance of Mr. Curtis at
the time of the inspection was appreciated.
The facility is permitted for the operation of the operation of a 900 GPM wastewater treatment

wastewater back into the manufacturing facility; and all associated piping, valves, controls,

The permit, which was issued March 25, 2019, is effective through January 31, 2025. Division
records indicate the required annual fee for the period ending December 31, 2023, due
January 01, 2023, has been paid.
Findings during the inspection were as follows:
1. Treatment system Operation: The wastewater treatment system shall be effectively
maintained and always operated so there is no discharge to surface waters, nor any
contravention of groundwater or surface water standards. At the time of inspection, the
