(UNCLASSIFIED) Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE These are the issues we noted from review of the monitoring plan. 1. Groundwater wells not meeting performance standards but were installed late in the growing season. 2. Stream gauges on the site range from 4.6 days to 71 days. (Not meeting the 30 day continuous flow standard) 3. A ford crossing was installed just outside easement boundaries - not noted in mit plan. No emergency overflow (culvert) was constructed along UT 3 as proposed. 4. Vegetation (species) not consistent with mitigation plan. (UNCLASSIFIED) Thank you Todd, that is very helpful. DMS advised Baker to contact me in advance to even see if buffer credits on this site would even be a viable option. A coastal headwater stream site would be considered an "alternative buffer mitigation" option under our Temporary Consolidated Buffer Mit. Rule and would need DWR approval to even be allowed for credit. I'll probably go see the site with our Washington RO at some point. Have a great day! (UNCLASSIFIED) Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE Yeah, St. Clair is a DMS site so it's not going to be on RIBITS. Also, I'm not sure why Baker would be approaching you for buffer credit instead of DMS. I've attached the ledger from our last credit release on the site (from this year's monitoring 1 report). I do believe there were some concerns about the site, maybe the hydrology? I think Andrea knows a bit more and I've copied her. Hey Todd, I hope you are having a great Monday. I was wondering who within the USACE (Washington office?) I should contact with regards to the St. Clair Creek Restoration Project in Beaufort County? I was contacted by Baker Engineering with regards to the potential for buffer mitigation out there. I have access to their Final Mitigation Plan and the Year 1 Monitoring Report, but can't seem to locate any correspondence in our database about status, credit releases, etc. I'm still trying to figure out RIBITS, lol.
