I hope all is well.
On behalf of the Coastal Regional Solid Waste Management Authority(CRSWMA), we are submitting this request to
modify the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)for the Tuscarora Long-Term Regional Landfill (NPDES
General Permit No. NCG120044).
We are asking to remove Outfall 2 from the facility's SWPPP because a small drainage area drains to Outfall 2.The
monitoring logs provided by CRSWMA also show Outfall 2 not discharging for a total of 13 months after a measurable
storm event out of the 18-month period.
Attached is a letter detailing the modification request with drawings demonstrating the rerouting of stormwater flow
after the removal of Outfall 2.The letter also included the monitoring records that CRSWMA provided.
