Dear Mr.Carreno:
On September 6, 2023,the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources received your request to
rescind your coverage under Certificate of Coverage Number NCG080430.
Based on our review of your request and the recommendation of our Winson-Salem Regional Office,your
request for rescission has been denied.Your request was denied because of multiple exposure issues being
present.Staff noted various trucks,trailers,and equipment still onsite. Multiple tractor trailers and trucks
are stationed outside in addition to forklifts and other equipment present. Inspectors also noted large piles
of tires and metal junk in need of removal. Finally,there is an overdue annual fee for 2023 that must be
paid before your COC may be rescinded.Once these issues are fixed,please submit a new rescission request
so a rescission can be granted.Your Certificate of Coverage Number NCG080430 will remain in effect and
you must continue to comply with your NPDES stormwater permit.
