The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on -hold until all of the following information is received: The application did not include enough detail or plans to allow the Division to fully evaluate the project's effects on water quality. Specifically: No pictures of the existing shoreline were included with the initial application. Please provide photos of the existing seawall, dock, and dock stairs that are to be replaced. Feel free to send those to this email, or to my phone number (828-545-2859). [15A NCAC 02H .0502(a)(4); 15A NCAC 02H .0502(a)(9)] The seawall design plans attached to the ePCN indicate that some portions of the dock "may require temporary support, removal and replacement to facilitate installation of new footing". The ePCN only lists the impacts from the seawall itself. Please clarify if any pilings or related structures will be installed for the dock during this project, and if so, list the area of impact for those. Any fill into the lakebed, including pilings or concrete, should be listed as either temporary or permanent impacts on the ePCN. ).
