AUTHORIZATION of Neuse River Buffer Rule (15A NCAC 02B.0233) Certificate
Dear Mr. Short:
You have authorization, in accordance with 15A NCAC 02B .0233 to impact Zone 1 and of Zone 2 of the
Neuse Riparian Buffers for streambank stabilization. The proposed impacts will consist of riprap within an
existing gulley to stop the progress of an erosional cut. If you change your project you must notify this
Office and you may be required to send us an application.
This letter does not authorize any impacts to either Waters of the United States or Waters of the State.
Please contact the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) if any
impacts are proposed to either of these waters. If you have any questions regarding this matter please
