Dear Permittee,
On October 30, 2023, the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources received your request
to rescind your coverage under NPDES Stormwater Permit NCS000049. In accordance with
your request,NCS000049 is rescinded effective immediately.
Operating a treatment facility, discharging wastewater, or discharging specific types of
stormwater to waters of the State without valid coverage under an NPDES permit is against
federal and state laws and could result in fines. If something changes and your facility would
again require stormwater or wastewater discharge permit coverage, you should notify this office
immediately. We would be happy to assist you in assuring the proper peai-nit coverage.
If the facility is in the process of being sold, you would be performing a public service if you
inform the new or prospective owners of their potential need for NPDES permit coverage.

Inspection Summary:
Facility is inactive.A recission request has been submitted to our office for review.At the time of this inspection all above
ground storage tanks, secondary containment structures and the pump house have been emptied and cleaned utilizing a
thrid party hazardous waste disposal company.The facilities industrial discharge has been disconnected from the cities
sanitary sewer lines and only surface water flows to the creek. Based on these observations it is recommended that
approval of the recission request be processed at this time.
