Reference the Department of the Army permit issued to Starmount Company on March 31,
2004, to authorize the discharge of fill material into waters of the United States, for construction
of Phase II of the Villages at Reedy Fork Subdivision, located east of NC Highway 29 and north
of Eckerson Road, in Greensboro, in Guilford County, North Carolina (36 1809 'N, - 77.70240
W). This permit authorized impacts to 1,220 linear feet of stream channel and 0.198 acre of
wetland, as well as indirect impacts to 331 linear feet of stream channel Also, reference a permit
modification dated October 25, 2012, which noted that all permitted impacts were complete with
the exception of the crossing of Site #10, and extended the expiration date of the permit to
December 31, 2024
Further, reference your letter to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District,
Raleigh Regulatory Field Office (Corps) dated September 3, 2014, received September 10, 2014,
requesting modification of the permit for a net increase in permanent impacts to streams (not a
loss) of 80 linear feet and temporary impacts to 0 021 acre of wetlands, for two crossings
associated with a new sanitary sewer outfall for the above referenced project.
The Corps has completed the evaluation of your request and has determined that it is
appropriate and reasonable, and no public notice is required for this modification. Therefore, the
permit is modified as listed and shown in the Supplemental Maps included in the modification
request dated September 3, 2014, for a net decrease of permanent impacts to streams of 80 linear
feet and a net increase of temporary impacts to wetlands of 0.021 acre. This project now totals
permanent impacts to 1,300 linear feet of streams, 0.198 acre of wetlands, temporary impacts to
0.021 acre of wetlands, and indirect impacts to 331 linear feet of stream channel

All other conditions of the permit, including the permit expiration date of December 31,
