FACILITY SUMMARY
Carolina Village MHC,LLC operates a wastewater treatment plant for an estimated 680 residents. The
Carolina Village Mobile Home Park WWTP is a minor facility(flow< 1 MGD)with a design capacity and
permitted wastewater discharge of 0.09 MGD. The original NPDES permit for this facility was issued in
January 1986. This facility utilizes the following treatment components:
• Duplex influent pump station
• Bar screen
• Flow equalization basin
• Aeration Sludge Holding w/gravity decant
• Extended aeration basin
• Scum/stilling well
• Clarifier
• Tablet chlorination
• Tablet dechlorination
• Effluent flow measurement
RENEWAL SUMMARY

COMPLIANCE HISTORY
Carolina Village Mobile Home Park WWTP has not had any enforcements since 2015. The facility has
been issued 24 NOVs in 2019,2020,2021, 2022, and 2023 for BOD,Fecal Coliform,Ammonia Nitrogen,
and Total Suspended Solids limit violations since the permit was originally issued in February 2019.
Most recent inspection(November 2020)showed the facility to be in compliance.
