Authorizing development in Carteret County Core Creek (AIWW), basin off of SR 1162,
near Beaufort , as requested in the permittee's application submitted electronically via letter
dated 12/19/23 and email dated 12/6/23.
This permit, issued on January 18, 2024 , is subject to compliance with the application (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may
be subject to fines, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void.
1) This transfer must be attached to copies of the following permit documents, which includes all
application forms and workplan drawings:
a. The New Permit 8-96 issued on 1/17/96;
b. The Transfer issued on 4/17/98;
c. The Major Modification issued on 6/2/98;
d. The Minor Modification issued on 10/24/98;
e. The Major Modification issued on 12/11/98;
f. The Letter of Refinement issued on 1/18/99;
g. The Letter of Refinement issued on 5/24/99;
h. The Letter of Refinement issued on 8/23/99;
i. The Renewal issued on 10/5/99;
j. The Minor Modification issued on 12/22/99;

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification not covered
hereunder requires further Division approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
December 31, 2028
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees that
your project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

2) Copies of all referenced documents shall be readily available on site when a Division representative
inspects the project for compliance. In accepting this transfer, the new permittee agrees that all conditions
and stipulations of the active permit remain in force.
NOTE: The N.C. Division of Water Resources has assigned the proposed project DWR Project No.
2006-0400.
NOTE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has assigned the proposed project SAW Action Id. No. 2006-
00748.
NOTE: A permit renewal and transfer application processing fee of $200 was received by DCM for this
proj ect.
