1. General Information
The Town of LaGrange owns and operates a 0.750 MGD wastewater treatment plant
located at 700 E. King Street. The treatment facility consists of grit removal, bar screen,
transfer pumps, oxidation ditches, clarifiers, filters, digester, and chlorine contact basin
with post -aeration. The discharge from this plant is into Moseley creek, in the Neuse
River basin.
2. Performance
During the calendar year of 2023, the Town of LaGrange had no monitoring or reporting
violations, no sanitary sewer overflows, and 9 permit limit violations.
The permit limit violations are as follows:
For the Weeks of May 4, 11, and 18, June 15, and 22, August 17 and October 5,12, and
19, the permitted average weekly Phosphorous limit of 2.0 mg/l was exceeded.
Sanitary Sewer Overflow: None
