I.Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for Joe Perry Project; 20240105 Ver 1; Ashe County
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on January 12, 2024 Joseph Perry (424 Green Meadows Dr , Todd, NC 28684)
applied to the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant
to Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this
certification is sought regards Bank Stabilization & Shoreline Stabilization (sills, rip rap). The DWR’s proposed
date of final action on the application is February 18, 2024.
Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on
February 18, 2024. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form
here: <https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments>. Written comments may also be
mailed to: 401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617.
