Subject: Application No. WQ0044259
Carolina Poultry Power RG2 - Wilson
Dear Mr. Saunders:
The information provided herein is based on our Teams Meeting from December 19, 2023. In
addition to the proposed beneficial uses of the reclaimed water listed on RWCU 06-16, CPP
plans to use reclaim water for some cooling and make-up water, which are covered under 02U
.0113 Permitting By Regulation (PBR). These water uses are shown on Drawing 1030, identified
below, are collected and routed back to the City of Wilson WTP via an oil/water separator.
• Make-up water (7 gpm)
• Cooling water (2 gpm to sample coolers; 2 gpm to pump coolers; 1 gpm to other)
CPP will meet the requirements of the PBR, including the development of a Spill Control Plan
to prevent unintended discharge of reclaim water.

Section II #3 has been updated to include all uses of reclaimed water. Added are
industrial process water makeup for the 3 gpm going to dilute the lime injection
system (evaporated from boiler stack). Please note, reclaim water is not to be used
for fire protection. The sprinklers and fire hydrants will be served by a separate
city water supply line.
2
Section II #4 has been updated to show that the estimated amount of reclaimed
water includes both the pond 223,676 gpd plus 4,320 gpd dilution water.
3
Section VII #2 has been updated to include utilization area 005 for the boiler stack.
