SW4231001 RE-SUBMITTAL WORD OF LIFE ADI PROJECT NO.: 23-032 To Whom It May Concern: On behalf of Mr. Bruce Henry, Sr., and, from comments received after the administrative completeness review, enclosed is the revised information for review and approval of the stormwater management permit for the subject project. We are enclosing the following: 1. Two complete sets of the stormwater construction drawings, Sheets SWM1 through SWM5 (folded to 8.5"x 14"), as issued, "Revised per NCDEQ SWM Comments" dated, January 10, 2024; 2. One (1) copy of the revised Pages 2 and 3 of the Stormwater Management Permit Application Form; 3. One (1) copy of the revised"Stormwater Narrative and Calculations"; 4. One (1) copy of the revised Supplement-EZ Form. 5. The following is a brief discussion of each of the items listed for disapproval in your letter from January 10, 2024: 1. SCM MDCs: a. Stormwater outlet stabilization calculations are now provided on sheets SWM3 and SWM5, as well as appendix H of the Stormwater Narrative and Calculations. b. Sheet SWM5 is now revised to show the correct percentage ranges for the bioretention media. c. Cleanouts are now clearly labeled on the plan view of sheet SWM5. Allied Design, Inc. CIVIL ENGINEERINGâť– LAND SURVEYING Firm License No.: C-1891 d. The invert of the IWS has been moved to the recommended elevation (Elev. 914.50; 18 inches below the planning surface). 2. Mr. Henry's phone number and email are now provided in section III of the application. 3. Supplement-EZ Form a. Cover Page i. Vegetated setback width has now been provided in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H.1017(10). b. Drainage Area Page i. Entire Site 1. The column updated to reflect the entire site information. There is an impervious area of 1,060 sf in line 12 (Roadway). This reflects the area that will not be treated in the bio cell and is not included in the drainage area 1 impervious area calculations. BUA calculations have been updated to include this area; hence changing the site BUA percentage to 27.86. This has been updated on SWM2 and page 3 of the Stormwater Management Permit Application Form. 2. The project area has been provided in lines 5 and 6. 3. Lines 4 and 19-21 have been revised to "N/A". ii. Bioretention Cell Column 1. Line 18 has been updated to 27.86% (shown as 28%). 2. Design volume of storage revised to 3,913 cf to match volume shown in Hydrographs Pond Report(Narrative Appendix G) c. Bioretention Cell Page i. Design Volume of storage revised to 3,913 cf to match volume shown in Hydrographs Pond Report (Narrative Appendix G) ii. Line 24 now reflects the peak attenuation depth of the 10-yr storm, which has a max elevation of 917.09. The 10-yr, 6-hr hydrographs have been added to appendix E of the narrative. iii. Since the proposed bioretention cell does have an underdrain system, line 26 has been revised to state "N/A". iv. Line 32 has been revised to state 30 in as the media depth. v. Lines 33-35 have been revised to reflect the correct media percentages based on the ranges shown in 15A NCAC 02H.1052(6).
