The Town of Leland requests an extension of 120 days to fulfill the requirements of the Notice of Violation
to submit a draft Stormwater Management Plan to NCDEQ. Since the NOV was issued the Town's
Stormwater Administrator separated employment with the Town and we have been diligently recruiting
for replacement personnel.We have contracted with a private engineering firm to assist the Town with its
stormwater matters.We believe with adequate time we can recruit the personnel and work with outside

consultants to provide the appropriate information and implement a proper system that incorporates the
organization, personnel, and workflows to meet and exceed the requirements of the MS4 program.
