SUBJECT: Site Coordination Meeting - Administration Center, B.
Everett Jordan Dam and Lake

1. On 12 March 1987, a site coordination meeting was conducted.

2. The following persons were present:

3. A site for the Administration Center was established in the field.
The actual spot is marked with pink flagging. Also, during the site
visit the location on the Ranger Residence was marked with pink and
white flagging. The location of the Administration Center is as shown
in the approved Master Plan. The State Representatives present agreed
with the location of the Administration Center and the Ranger
Residence after discussing all of their concerns and looking at the
sites in the field. See the attached plan for locations shown in red.

4. The State wants to have a courtesy dock located near the
Administration Center as shown on the approved Master Plan. The State
Representatives agreed with our thinking on traffic flow and parking
for the Administration Center. Visitor parking will be provided in
front of the building while employee parking will be separate and near
an employee entry.

5. A modification to the Maintenance Center roadway will be necessary
to take the main traffic flow to the Administration Center instead of
the Maintenance Center. A "T" intersection will take care of the
intersection of these two roads. This modification to the roadway is
minor compared to the changes the State had in mind. The State had
wanted to have the Ranger Residence close to the boat ramp in the
Maintenance Center plans. To site the Ranger Residence close to the
boat ramp would have necessitated a major design and construction
modification to the roadway layout on the already awarded Maintenance
Center contract. After considerable discussion and looking at the
sites in the field the State agreed with locating the Ranger Residence
near the Administration Center instead of adjacent to the boat ramp.
