Morris, Director Division of Water Resources North Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Community Development Post Office Box 27687 Raleigh, North Carolina 27611-7687 Dear Mr. Morris: This letter responds to like-numbered comments in your letter dated February 3, 1986. 1. Auto Shop costs include a hydraulic lift and other built- in equipment, i.e., air lines, water lines, etc. Free standing equipment such as air compressor, hoses, and tire changer will not be provided. Rough-ins for this equipment will be furnished. 2. Water hydrant will be installed at the Vehicle Storage Building. 3. Underground storage tanks and details will be shown in final plans. 4. Wood stoves will be provided for primary heat source with a heat pump backup. 5. Cost of seeding has been revised. 6. Number of steps will be reduced to minimum. 7. Area lights will be provided inside the compound. 8. Outfitting the shops with cabinets and shelving is considered an operational activity similar to purchasing required tools and equipment. All storage requirements cannot be fully determined until the park is operational. -2- 9. Pavement will be provided as requested and walkways will be coordinated. 10. See response above concerning shelving. 11. Lumber storage racks were not conceived in the original lumber storage building design and cannot be included with the vehicle storage building as requested. See item 8.
