Jones Estates has been working diligently towards the completion of Pace Mobile Home Park
SOC. We have Completed the construction of the splitter box, we have installed Train 2 Equipment, we
have transitioned to Train 2 operations and removed Train 1 from Operations.
Unfortunately, we had a few setbacks meeting the field certification due to rental equipment
purchased through HACH not being packaged correctly and being damaged upon arrival. We did request
another set but that too was delayed. By the time HACH had the delivery corrected, our original
equipment (DR1900 & HQ4200) was returned with its certification. Jones Estates has been in contact
with the Lab since June but with the delays from HACH we weren't able to meet the July 15, 2023,
deadline.
Over the last few months, we have begun installing Trainl's necessary piping to put it back into
operation. To my surprise we are having issues with my current operator. I have been in contact with my
inspector, Mr. Cheng, about my concerns and he has expressed the same. I believe once I make all the
corrections to bring train 1 back into operation, we have a potential to fail due to personnel. We are
currently looking for a more qualified operator to ensure this plant does not go in the wrong direction.
Overall, I am pleased with the progress and outcome so far of the plant. I have put in two
requests for an extension to the SOC which have not been ruled yet and I would like to extend my
previous request to December 15, 2023.
