Dear Mr. Huffman:
Our office has reviewed the Groundwater Quality Monitoring Compliance Report Forms (GW-59) for the
subject facility that were previously submitted. Based on this review, no further groundwater monitoring
is recommended at the facility. The monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3) should be abandoned
in accordance with North Carolina Administrative Title 15A, Subchapter 2C, Section .0113. The wells
should be abandoned within 30 days from the receipt of this letter and well abandonment records should
be submitted to this office within 30 days after well abandonment. If this timeframe is too short to comply,
please write a letter with your proposed schedule for well abandonment within 15 days of receipt of this
letter to this office.
