Please see response below from the ORC, JoeDavid Hall:
Eden Glen waste water treatment plant had a BOD violation on September 6th of 2023. The
exceedance was caused buy a strong waste load (something unknown) being dumped into the
waste water system the night before. This did not cause a visible problem to the system but
once tested there was not adequate treatment of the BOD in the waste water effluent. The
treatment plant's dissolved oxygen was monitored closely and soon the plant was working in
compliance with the permit. The BOD limit was not exceeded the rest of the month.
