Re: Stream Origin/Buffer Applicability Determination Request
Intersection Improvements at Wendell Falls Pkwy. (SR 1007) and Eagle Rock Rd. (SR 1003)
Wendell, Wake County, NC
Dear Reviewer:
VHB respectfully requests concurrence with the stream origin/buffer applicability determination (SOBAD) in
association with this proposed intersection improvement. VHB is currently under contract with the Town of
Wendell, to provide natural resources inventories, jurisdictional assessments, and reporting. The proposed project
will expand an intersection in Wake County, NC.
This project is considered a linear transportation project and the SOBAD will assist in avoidance and minimization
of unavoidable stream or wetland impacts associated with design and layout of the proposed intersection
improvement. We have attached the following information to assist with your review:
• Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination request forms
• Figures
0 1. Vicinity Map
0 2. USGS Topographic Study Area Map
0 3. 1970 Soil Survey of Wake County, NC
0 4. Potential Jurisdictional Features
• USACE upland data form
• Site photographs
• Antecedent Precipitation Tool output
• Landowner notification letter
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (919) 754-5019. We look forward to hearing from
you soon.
Sincerely,
