Dear Daniel,

This letter is written on behalf of the TE Connectivity to provide information as to
remedial action taken to the above referenced facility in reference to NOV-2023-LV-
0805 attached.

On 9-27-23 we exceeded the daily limit for BOD with a 77.6 mg/L over the 45 mg/L
daily limit.

We did not observe any biological upset or unusual activity in the secondary treatment
units. There were no indications we were going to have elevated BOD and fecal results.

We suspected the exceedance may have been from the dechlorination tablets (sodium
sulfate), which can increase the BOD’s. We increased the chlorination amounts to kill
anything between the chlorine contact chamber and the dechlorination. All sample
results since the first week of October have been compliant.

We will continue to evaluate the system and make adjustments as needed.
