The original PCN was submitted on August 16, 2023. Meetings between Piedmont Natural Gas, Roseburg Lumber, the Roanoke Trail Canal Commission, and the Roanoke Rapids Sanitary Sewer District have resulted in the natural gas pipeline re -alignment since the original PCN. The re- alignment has revised both the open -cut and horizontal directional drill (HDD) portions of the project which resulted in changes to the stream and wetland impacts.
