Good Morning Jerry,
We are still having issues with filing the eDMRs. For this site in particular, I have access, but it will not allow me to
actually add the report or input the data and the help function has not worked. I am sending you the report from the
first quarterly sampling event(see attached). Once the eDMR system is fixed,we will start using that. I know we
normally send you the hard copy with the original signature as well per the submittal requirements. Would you still like
the hard copy or is this sufficient until we can upload forms? I will be doing this with several sites, so you will be getting
quite a few of these in the next week or so to wrap up the year.
Additionally, Eric Eubanks will be the PM on this site going forward so I have copied him on this email.
Best Regards,
Joanna Alley, P.E.

General NPDES Permit# NCG140000

Dear Mr. Eplin:
On behalf of Tri State Gunite of NJ, L.P. (Tri State), please find attached results of stormwater outfall
sampling that was conducted on March 27, 2023, for the Tri State Gunite facility in Monroe, Union
County, North Carolina. Water samples were collected from the outfall SDO-1 by Tri State personnel
on March 27, 2023, in accordance with the sampling requirements of the permit. Water samples
were analyzed for total suspended solids (TSS), non-polar oil and grease and pH. The March 2023
sampling results indicated that the TSS levels exceeded the permit requirements, and the pH was
outside the acceptable range in the sampled outfall. Please note that pH was not collected using a
field meter. Rather it was analyzed in the laboratory. The Stormwater Discharge Outfall Monitoring
Report is included in Appendix A, the Stormwater Discharge Outfall Qualitative Monitoring Report is
included in Appendix B, and a complete laboratory analytical report is included as Appendix C.

All permits require qualitative monitoring to be performed during a"measurable storm event."
A"measurable storm event"is a storm event that results in an actual discharge from the permitted site
outfall. The previous measurable storm event must have been at least 72 hours prior. The 72-hour storm
interval does not apply if the permittee is able to document that a shorter interval is representative for
local storm events during the sampling period, and the pernttee obtains approval from the local DEMLR
Regional Office.
