Good morning Jerry, I'm reaching out again from the Charlotte Frito Lay facility for two Tier 1 Responses. Our permit number is NCG060175 We had our first exceedance for pH of 9.29 at Outfall 002 on November 23rd, putting us in Tier 1 for that parameter. We also had an exceedance from the November 23rd sampling at Outfall 001 of 9.23 pH. However, we were still in Tier 1 status for this Outfall 001 parameter from an August sampling and with a sample in between in October that was within the benchmark no Tier 2 response is required at this time. Both exceedances are thought to be a one off, however action plans have been documented in accordance with our Tier 2 action plans from other parameters. Just so we're of the same understanding, the Charlotte Site is on: • Tier 1 status for Outfall 001 and 002 pH (need 3 more consecutive samples within the benchmark) • Tier 1 status for Outfall 003 COD (need 1 more consecutive sample within the benchmark) • Tier 2 status for Outfall 001 and 002 COD (need 2 more consecutive samples within the benchmark) • No longer on Tier 1 status for Outfall 001 TSS (3 consecutive samples within the benchmark were collected— finished with November 23rd sampling) Please let me know if there is any other information need from us at this time.
