The Municipal Unit of the Division of Water Resources has reviewed the Industrial User Pretreatment Permit
(IUP)submitted by the Town of Tarboro for the following Significant Industrial User(SILT). The submission was
received by the Division on November 22, 2023.

The review indicates that corrections and/or more information are required before the IUP will be adequate
and the minimum requirements of 15A NCAC 2H .0907 are met. Please review the following and respond by
January 19t1i,2024.
For the Division to complete its review of the IUP,you are required to submit the following information and
corrections:
The Division requests the industry's permit renewal application and the most recent industry facility inspection.
In Part 1 Section F of the permit please update the PQL values to comply with the PQL comp guide issued in
conjunction with the North Carolina Pretreatment Consortium for effluent monitoring for the following
parameters:
Cadmium, Copper, Cyanide,Lead,Nickel,and Silver
