Good afternoon,

I have attached the Year 7 Visual Inspection Summary and photo logs for the Hathaway Stream Restoration site. As previously discussed, the monitoring approach for 2023 was adjusted to
only include visual inspections due to the significant influence of beaver activity on the site. The attached summary includes a description of the site as well as a discussion of the
ecological changes and benefits experienced by beaver-guided systems. The report includes the spring and fall 2023 photo logs and an additional photo log of various other photos taken
this year that you wouldn’t otherwise see from the set photo locations. In conclusion, we believe that the inspections this year demonstrate that the site is functioning as a diverse
and healthy ecosystem and will continuing to remain on a positive trajectory through the natural beaver-guided lifecycle of a coastal plain stream common in this area.

Since this was the last year of monitoring, I would like to request that we close out the project at this time. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns as you review
the summary and photo logs.
