Ron - I am attaching updated pages to reflect the corrections mentioned below. Also, here is a more detailed description of the project. The Quail Run Mobile Home Park currently collects wastewater from the 45 mobile homes through an existing gravity system. The gravity system conveys the raw sewage for treatment with an existing Sand Filter. The treated wastewater this then pumped to the stream discharge location through an existing submersible Pump Station and 4" Forcemain under NPDES NC0070033. The proposed project will utilize a majority of the existing gravity system within the mobile home park but new sections of 6" gravity service lines will be installed to assist with bypassing old septic tanks and convey the wastewater to a new section of 8" gravity sewer which will connect to the renovated submersible pump station. The new pump station will pump the wastewater utilizing approximately 400 LF of existing 4" forcemain and 50 LF of new 4" forcemain, which will tie into an 8" gravity sewer outfall owned by Davidson County. The sand filter and remaining unused forcemain will be decommissioned and abandoned once the project is complete. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need further information. The first column should reflect 3-bedroom residential units, the second column should reflect 120 gallons per day per bedroom, the third column should reflect the number of units, and the fourth should reflect the total flow. • The PS flow numbers in section VIII are incorrect. If you have an 80 gallons per minute pump, at 1,440 minutes per day, your total flow will be 115,200 GPD or 0.1152 MGD. You have listed in 3. only 0.016 MGD or 16,000 GPD. • Please provide a better narrative that explains the project in further detail, including the purpose of and where the gravity sewers will be installed and the differences between the existing an new sections of force main. Please correct these errors and resubmit the corrected pages as soon as possible so we may issue the requested permit. Best Regards, Ronald C.
